Every story has to start somewhere, this one starts back in 2016 when I bought Christine from a local guy on a whim. I saw her sitting on his front garden with a for sale sign on the dashboard.
I needed a van for work and he wanted cash to buy a transit, so after a few checks and a bit of haggling a deal was struck, and that as they say was history. I don’t have any photos from that earlier time, but take it from me it was a standard non descript white VW T4 LWB (Long Wheel Based) van.

I needed it for work, so I ripped up the carpet and started using it daily for moving wood to my workshop. Then for some reason in 2018 I parked her up and started using my car. Maybe it was because I didn’t need to move so much wood as I had changed jobs and time was a rare commodity.
Fast forward 15 months. I decided to fire he up as people were starting to take an interest in buying her, she had been just standing gathering green yuk and not being moved and the vultures were hovering looking for a meal.
To my surprise after a new battery and a bit of hoping and preying up she fired like she’d never been away.
Little did I know……..
